Liu Jian, the first person to routinely carry out open-heart surgery in Sichuan provincial hospital, and awarded as "Demonstration of Outstanding professional and Technical Personnel", "Sichuan Provincial Outstanding Experts with Great Contributions", "The Tenth Batch of Academic and Technological Leaders in Sichuan Provincial Health Department", "The First Batch of Leading Talent in Ziyang City," "Talent of Jianyang Xiongzhou" and "Jianyang Craftsmen". The Department of Cardiac Surgery in Jianyang People's Hospital founded and leaded by him is "Sichuan Provincial Medical Level-A Key Discipline".

The need to build a bridge with CFDA is more apparent today than ever before. With changing regulations, type testing challenges and local clinical trial requirements evolving, it’s imperative to have improved communication with CFDA. This session will discuss a few methods to increase communication with CFDA including product workshops and various educational sessions.

Ann Graves, VP, International Regulatory Affairs, Abbott
Ann M. Graves was named Vice President of International Regulatory Affairs in 2014.

Ms. Graves has over 20 years of experience in Regulatory Affairs achieving approval of life-sustaining Class II and Class III devices. She has a passion for problem solving and believes in improving medical devices for the patients who depend on them.

Ms. Graves holds a BS in Material Science Engineering and a MS in Biomedical Engineering and Material Science Engineering from Iowa State University.
