2012 Poster Presentation Instructions

• All posters are presented in one of the following conference poster sessions:

o Wednesday, April 11, 3:30-5:00 PM in the HHH room of the Radisson
o Thursday, April 12, 2:00-3:30 PM in the HHH room of the Radisson

• Set-up times are one hour before each poster session.

• There will be space available to store your posters during the conference, please see conference staff at the registration desk if you wish to store your poster. *NOTE* pre-shipment of posters is NOT available.

• One of the authors must be present at the poster during the entire poster session. Final 1-page paper will also be published in the ASME Journal of Medical Devices providing that the poster is presented at the 2012 DMD Conference. See submission instructions below.

• The allotted tackable poster space is 91”wide x 45” tall.

• There will not be space for table-top displays next to your poster board, nor will there be AC power next to your board.

• Push Pins will be provided.

• Please follow good design principles in preparing your poster.

• The title should span the top and be in letters that are at least one inch tall.

Paper Publication Instructions

Final accepted 1-page papers will be published in the ASME Journal of Medical Devices providing that the poster is presented at the 2012 DMD Conference. One of the authors must be present at the poster during the entire poster session.

All authors are encouraged to expand their conference papers into full-length papers for submission to the ASME Journal of Medical Devices through its normal journal article submission process.

REQUIREMENT: Complete the PERMISSION TO PUBLISH FORM, print, sign, scan and upload via our Submission Page. Please label the PDF file with your paper number DMD 2012-XXXX. Note: Only PDF files will be accepted. (alternative submission option is to fax the completed form to 612-626-2548)

Only the lead author needs to complete the Permission to Publish Form.
